Celebrate Mum with a Message at Eastgate Shopping Centre

This March, Eastgate Shopping Centre in Gloucester is celebrating all the amazing mums, nans, carers, and mother figures in our lives with a giant Mother’s Day Message Wall. We’re inviting children and families to get involved by writing heartfelt messages that will be proudly displayed for everyone to see.

From sweet scribbles to colourful drawings and thoughtful notes, the Message Wall is a chance to show love and appreciation in a big, beautiful way. Whether it’s a simple “Thank you, Mum” or a message full of hugs and hearts, every note makes a difference.

Children can write their messages at our special creation station, located in The Forum—right by the entrance to Eastgate Indoor Market. We’ll supply the pens, cards, and creativity space—just bring your best message and a little love!

Once written, the messages will be transferred to our giant Mother’s Day Message Wall in King’s Walk, forming a colourful tribute that will be on display for shoppers and visitors to enjoy in the lead-up to Mother’s Day.

Can’t make it in person? Don’t worry—we’re accepting messages via our social media channels too! Send us your message, poem, or even a short video and we’ll choose our favourites to print and proudly feature on the board.

This community-led celebration is all about creating a shared moment of kindness and gratitude. It’s a great chance for little ones to express their feelings in their own words and for families to take part in something fun and meaningful together.

Eastgate Shopping Centre has long been a place where families come together, and this event is just one more way we’re helping to create special moments for local people. We’d love for you to be part of it.
